Just a couple of weeks ago, our good friend Charlie told us he wasn't able to go with us on this trip after all. David, Barbara and I were all very disappointed. Then just days later, David and I found out that the apartment we were renting just before the trip (in Oxford) had already been rented to someone else. So, we had to scramble to find someplace else. Fortunately, we found a cute cottage. We are hoping for no more bad news!!
